Missing teen found safe in Buenos Aires

A 17-year-old teenager who had been missing since Saturday in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires was found safe and sound, according to police sources reported to the Argentine News Agency (NA). The missing person was last seen during the night of November 22nd when he left his home located at Paraguay 3300 to meet a friend, but did not return. His mother filed a missing person report, and the investigation was handed over to the National Prosecutor's Office for Criminal and Correctional Matters No. 44, whose prosecutor requested the help of the City Police for the search. In this context, officers activated a special protocol due to the fact that the young man had two prior records of going missing and was undergoing treatment at the Ricardo Gutiérrez Hospital. Authorities requested information from Mercado Pago, CNRT, SUBE, hospitals, and Migrations, while images recorded by the security cameras of the Urban Monitoring Center (CMU) were analyzed. Additionally, patrols were carried out in the Buenos Aires Aires district of Avellaneda and at the health center where he was receiving treatment for depression. His mother alerted that her son, identified as 'B', appeared at Plaza Constitución, having not been the victim of any crime, and was taken to Gutiérrez for assistance.
